Soccer Extreme : Impressive though it was, a lot of Spurs’ second-half fightback at the San Siro midweek can be put down to Inter complacency - the Serie A champions certainly didn’t exert themselves unduly after the interval.

Sampdoria arrive at the San Siro on the back of a disappointing Europa League defeat against 10-man Metalist Kharkiv in the Ukraine.

Leading through a first-half goal from Hungarian Vladimir Koman, Doria somehow managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory after the interval, leaving coach ‘Mimmo’ Di Carlo speechless.

The Genoa club have been largely excellent in defence so far in Serie A and also showed a measure of resilience to come from behind and beat Fiorentina with two late goals last week.
