Soccer Extreme : Durable and reliable veteran Javier ZANETTI will strangely miss a couple of matches for Inter Milan as a precaution after suffering a pneumothorax as a result of getting hit by a football during the weekend match at Palermo.Pupi fainted after the match and had to go to the hospital though he was released and was able to fly back to Milan with the rest of the team.
A pneumothorax is "an abnormal presence of air in the pleural cavity resulting in the collapse of the lung; may be spontaneous (due to injury to the chest) or induced (as a treatment for tuberculosis)"
ZANETTI won't be able to play against Bari on Wednesday and he will also have to skip the trip to Rome to face Roma on Saturday.
Serie A will play their fixtures in mid-week. With most matches being played on Wednesday and Juventus v. Palermo on Thursday.
The other three Argentines at Inter are expected to start or are at least available for Rafael BENITEZ.
