Soccer Extreme : Jamie Carragher today reiterated his desire to sign a new contract and finish his playing career at Liverpool.Roy Hodgson has made clear his intention to talk to the 32-year-old about his Anfield future - and the man himself is confident a deal will be struck without too many complications.
Carragher told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Of course it's nice to hear. I am desperate to finish my career at the club and I'm sure that will be the case.
"If the manager has said these things, great. Once he's finished bringing people in we'll sit down and sort things out with no problems.
"It'll take two minutes, I think."
Hodgson is the fourth manager to work with Carragher at Anfield after Roy Evans, Gerard Houllier and Rafael Benitez.
And despite the Scouser's veteran status, he hopes to learn plenty from the new man.
He added: "His experience is second to none - he's one of the most experienced managers in world football. Look at all the different places he's been, the different cultures and languages.
