After listening to matches via the internet in Beverly Hills, the 23-year-olds jetted to Britain with tickets for an away game against Millwall.
First they made a pilgrimage to Oldham and the club's rain-lashed ground Boundary Park, only to find it closed.
Luckily they still managed to stock up on shirts and scarves to support the team, nicknamed the Latics.
They posted an internet video of themselves on a tour of the former Lancashire mill town, shivering on the railway station platform and visiting the hospital.

Sara said: "Being welcomed into the community of Oldham fans was like being part of a family we've never had."
