Soccer Extreme : An entire football team feared for their lives after a flock of storks ploughed into their plane. Dinamo Bucharest were on their way to Iasi in Romania for a match when the huge birds hit the front of the aircraft.One stork left a huge hole in the nose of the plane, just below where the pilots sit. Horrified players said they heard a massive crunch just as the plane was making its final approach to the airport.
They felt the plane judder as the pilot fought to keep it under control for an emergency landing. Team coach Mircea Rednic said: "We heard something hit us hard so we knew there was some kind of problem.
"It was only when we landed and we saw how damaged the plane was that we realised how serious it had been."
